the region. Fill in the questionaire and they will
send you
a touring map of the area.
Camerino lies only 10 minutes away
from the accommodation. In the middle
ages it controlled up to 30 castles. Information on the city

The
Frasassi
caves are well worth a visit. With a constant 14
Celcius temperature underground they can make for a cool break on a hot
day!

Pappafň
This is the newest restaurant in this area and
the nearest to the accommodation. It’s less than a kilometre away. (Drive
along the farmhouse road to the T-junction, turn right and it is about
400 metres
on the right.) The décor is very good and the service is normally
excellent. Food is good and well presented, although the menu can be
restricted. It boasts an excellent wine-list (although somewhat
expensive). There is
a special menu for vegetarians. In summer, it is
possible to dine outside where there is a pizza oven.

Sited in what remains of the Borgia
Palace
in Camerino, the dining room is in an excellent environment in a
vaulted stone-walled room.
The food is exceptional and the prices reasonable.
Ristorante
Pizzeria Etoile
An informal, inexpensive, place popular with
families, especially at the
weekend. It is best for its pizzas but the help-yourself
antipasti is excellent. Service
can be slow when it is crowded but the place has a pleasant atmosphere
and friendly staff. Inside, there are TV sets but it is possible to
dine
outside.
Ristorante del Cacciatore
This can be found in nearby Muccia and specialises in wild pig and
other dishes.
Col Di Giove
Situated beyond Muccia this agriturismo has a friendly, informal
atmosphere. It provides excellent pasta courses and it
is possible to dine outside.
