HERE'S “IL DONO
D’AMORE”
THE CHALLENGE TO ITALIAN MUSICAL
It
is an Italian story, written by the director Sydney Higgins who is an
adopted son of Camerino. For this reason
it is set in Camerino, the city he moved to, lives in and where he
works at the local university and where he has developed his artistic
life.
Among his previous successes there have been other
musicals, as well as the organisation of the Medieval Drama
Festival. The beautiful music has been composed, firmly
grasping
the distinctive features of the place and the time, by
Lamberto
Lugli, music professor and chairman of the Corale Filippo Marchetti.
